Re: Moebius Jeckyll-Hyde with Escape Hatch head sculpt ...
That really does look great! The aftermarket parts really made it a new and beautiful model. Of course your modeling skills still had a big hand in how nice it turned out!

Re: Question: Why hasn't MOTM Wolfman ever been repopped?
I was lucky enough to get a resin copy along with some of the others in resin, before it seemed there would ever be a chance they would be produced in plastic again. Happily it's one of the kits I actually HAVE built and display on my shelves. it's a very nice kit and looks great! So now I'll see if...

Re: Al Reboiro has passed?
Well that makes me feel bad too. I bought several things from him in the past and he was always a pleasure for me to deal with. He put out a lot of good kits and I am disappointed that he is gone from our hobby.

Re: Original Aurora Man from U.N.C.L.E. Kits
When I started model kits again in the 1990's I somehow expected all the kits I loved to be on shelves and available to purchase. WAS I SURPRISED! A handful of old reissued kits on shelves. Then I discovered garage kits and mail order catalogs and I got all kinds of things. Old kits I never knew exi...

While this is a great advantage ... "One advantage to doing a quick easy build like this first, is that when I get ready to do a more detailed version, I already know what to watch out for when building it." I think that the biggest advantage is that no matter what happens after that, you ...

I loved all the TV/Movie tie-ins I could find back in the 60's, and now I'm stuck with the teenage version of the painting I did on them back then. Wish mine looked as great as yours do!

Re: Godzilla's Go Cart
I'll try to post the kits in the series that I have built. Hope it works. If it did work, I included a couple of models I did for the old DC VS Marvel contests that we used to have. I really liked them. The contests and all the wonderful builds, I mean. https://i.postimg.cc/BQT2dtYF/IMG-0169.jpg htt...

Re: Godzilla's Go Cart
Great job! As a kid I didn't like the caricature kits (among other types) but as an adult when I got back into models I couldn't believe the kits I could have bought then, and the huge number of kits that came out since I was young. And I'm just talking about the mainstream styrene kits, not new kit...

I looked them up and it seems there were 6 kits originally. Anybody know for sure? I remember a couple of them and have wanted at least one in my collection. Now I can have at least 2 so that's (Joe) Cool.

Re: Robby the Robot vacuum form Comet kit
After looking at all the spots on mine I should have sanded much better, I can see what a really great job you did on your kit! Here's some pics of mine showing my poor seam work. Also here is a pic of a great value, a 15-16 inch tall walking talking Robby available at Walmart for $20! I love it. Th...

Re: Robby the Robot vacuum form Comet kit
Looks like an excellent job! And you're right, it does tend to lean forward with those heavy hands. I glued the feet onto a piece of acrlylic as a base that also prevents it from falling over, although it does lean just enough to remind me to be careful during the few times I need to move it. I buil...

Re: WBTV/??? - DC's TITANS === OMG!
I bought the dvd set. In 2 days I'm going to buy the Doom Patrol dvd set. I very much like Titans, but the look of Starfire just kicks me in the face every time she's on. The only time she vaguely looks like Starfire is when she's exhibiting her powers. The actress does a fine job, it's just her loo...

Re: SEVANS MODELS 'DR. WHO ICE WARRIOR'
That's an excellent build of the kit! You put a lot of fine detail into it and it shows. I was pleased with the quality of the Sevans kits when I first got some in hand, I believe it was approximately the late 1980's into the early 1990's. But I never even thought to try all the extra touches that m...

Re: Are we all ready for King of the Monsters?
I saw two different Godzilla movies on sale at WalMart and have a question. Godzilla and Godzilla King Of The Monsters. Both had a picture of what seemed to be the same Godzilla. But I saw part of another Godzilla movie which was animated but Godzilla looked like the one shown on these packages. So ...

Re: SEVANS MODELS 'DR. WHO ICE WARRIOR'
Thanks for the nice comments, glad you enjoyed the pictures! I think it was in the mid 1990's when I was able to order those kits. I believe I had to buy an international money order to mail from the U.S. to the UK to pay him. I don't remember how I got the contact info but it was probably from one ...

Re: SEVANS MODELS 'DR. WHO ICE WARRIOR'
That's great! You're really doing a good job on that. I've only built a couple of these kits, and have a few more to do. I didn't have the best of skills then but I really wanted to build them. I would have done some things differently now that I know better how to build and support the insides of s...

Re: Is nobody but me excited about CW Crisis On Infinite Ear
Thanks for the replies. I'm surprised at the lack of interest, but everyone's taste is different so that's ok. I'm just glad they're making these shows interesting for me. Some storylines stink for me too, but overall I've really enjoyed them. I grew up loving all kinds of comics, not just DC and MA...

Is nobody but me excited about CW Crisis On Infinite Earths
I asked at HobbyTalk and nobody seemed remotely interested. Thought I'd ask here. I know I am very excited. With Invasion, then Crisis On Earth X, Elseworlds (introducing the Monitor) and connection to the Crisis which has been often shown in the holographic newspaper in The Flash, I can only expect...
