Went over to Michael’s and they had the giant AMT studio series Tie Fighter. Found a 60% off coupon in my email , got the kit for $38

Cool model, but for less money you can get a decent 3d printer and an Stl file from Gambody or CG Trader and print out an army of these.

I find it interesting that over the past years we've seen more and more limited release plastic kits. Is there some new technology that has sharply reduced the price of injection mold making? Got both of mine the other day, Lucked out and got them for $39.95 ea.on Amazon with free Prime Shipping.
Have the Glow Version preordered at the same price. Since then they've jacked up the price to $79.95.
