Absolutely stunning work Paul! Your attention to detail is admirable and really pays off on this piece, which is a perfect homage to a classic piece of cinema history. Now you just have to convince the missus that this deserves to be displayed in all its glory in pride of place somewhere in the hous...

Re: SEVANS MODELS 'DR. WHO ICE WARRIOR'
Excellent work Paul....when you posted up the pics of the kit before you started work, I never imagined that it would end up looking this good. You've employed so many techniques to raise it up to this level, and it's all been worth it. I'll look forward to seeing him on his custom built base!

Re: SEVANS MODELS 'DR. WHO ICE WARRIOR'
Congratulations on the textures Paul, and welcome to the world of sculpting
I'm sure it nearly drove you mad carving in every one of those little scales, but it was definitely worth it in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing the next stages of this build up!

Re: SEVANS MODELS 'DR. WHO ICE WARRIOR'
This looks like a task to be attempted by only the most experienced of modellers... and knowing you as I do Paul, I think you're just the right sort of person to pull this off. I'll admit to not having seen this sort of model kit before, and it looks very tricky to me. But I've got to say that you'v...

Re: The classic S. Hayes Hunter of Darkness
That came out pretty well to say the least Paul :D You have surpassed yourself here with all the various details and textures and I am still in awe of the effect you've achieved with the translucency of the Alien head dome! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the next project on your workbench!

It's all looking superb so far mate
You've done a fabulous job on that Alien head and as ever your attention to detail is on show in the rest of the kit. I'll look forward to seeing the finished piece when you've got it all done!

Another stunning piece of work Paul
This may have taken a long time to complete, but all the time and effort was certainly worth it in the end!

Re: My Chimpanzee paint-up
Thanks a lot everyone for the great feedback :D I really appreciate folks taking the time to comment on this piece, especially as it's not a genre piece. A couple of people mention the mottled skin colouring I've used, wondering if it's authentic to Chimpanzee colouring. I've studied many photos of ...
