Re: Lost Boys David
I just remember seeing it at an early Chiller from back in the day with a "SOLD OUT" sign next to it. We used to kid Shawn about that, how he'd only bring two or three of ANYTHING so he could go home with bragging rights, but truth be told I think Shawn is just one of those guys where the ...

Re: Black suit Spidey
A friend of mine in the local IPMS chapter used a similar technique to "tile" his 1/72 scale Shuttle Orbiter build, but THIS is a whole different level of difficulty.

Jesse; will you be at Jersey Fest this year? Some of us don't do well below the Bible belt (seeing all those Post it Notes on boobies gives me a headache
).

Re: Lost Boys David
OUTSTANDING build, but I think it is a Shawn Nagle sculpt from earlier than '96 (but maybe that is when MIM first released it). Your tweaking definitely paid off!
Great job!

Wow, just WOW!!! I don't think I've EVER seen a March as Jekyll sculpt. And Jeff (of COURSE), NAILED IT!!! Now I'm REALLY looking forward to MY next project with him (you SHOULD have your box now Jeff!) Good luck in Louisville James! Will we be seeing you in Joisey in September? Tom

Re: Metaluna Mutant in Styrene...
Not sure WHERE you got the dollar amount spent on tooling a kit, but the second part of your post IS dead-on. Frank makes test shots available to aftermarket folks such as myself, Paul (ParaGrafix etched parts) and Jeff (JT Graphics decals) MAINLY because he is just a REALLY nice guy, but also he ca...

Benny; as a VAMPIRE guy, I THINK you will be VERY HAPPY! But here is a teaser for something I HOPE to have ready for a LIMITED relaunch of the site in a couple of weeks... http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o279/COPPRODUCTIONS/DecalWMII_zpsthlun2ig.jpg Decals for the kit part to start then a resin r...

Re: Metaluna Mutant in Styrene...
I'd like to know , honestly, how many were made....? 107 pink and 2000 Grey? The plot thickens.... :) Denis Phil told me 107 and Robb has stated numerous times around the net that this is a VERY limited kit. So: At this moment, Phil doesn't know if more might be made in the future, I'm assuming the...

Steve; I have not spoken to Paul or Phil yet, but Harry has been working on something for me that... well if you are going to be building your kit, hold off on doing the clackboard for a bit.

Re: Metaluna Mutant in Styrene...
Ok, had to pull the auction on eBay because there was just TOO much speculation on FB (most of it WRONG, which shocks me based on all MY experiences on the internet, up to this point anyway. 8) ) The rebagged little feller will also be winging his way to a new home shortly, which leaves me currently...

Re: Metaluna Mutant in Styrene...
Ken; hold off before you tear open that bag. I have shipped all but four of my preorders with one additional kit up on the 'Bay right now. BUT... I have one lonely little fuscia bulb headed stepchild of a kit that had SO many parts off the runners (and a tear in the bag) that I plan to see if Phil h...

Re: What's up with Cult of Personality website?
Hey Rob; I actually emailed you awhile ago about your quest for a styrene Godzilla head over on Hobby Talk (or am I misremembering? Maybe that was Ben?) Anyhoo; Spock (Hey Harry, I owe you a call, but it will PROBABLY be next week) is doing some MUCH needed renovating to the site and THAT IS ALL! No...

First off, for all of the inquiries and well wishes sent my way, during an unexpected (and MOST untimely) absence from the forums, my family and myself are TRULY grateful for the support of my SECOND family here on the CH! :) Having said that, for right now, I am neither able, nor WILLING to volunte...

Did it? What brand do you have? I've got an Equinox, and every time I type more than 3 sentences it blows a circuit and sets off the smoke detector.Todd P. wrote:My sarcasm detector just alarmed.

Re: Number 1 Nossy ...
There are a few thousand plastic copies. True, but there are two versions of the head, so one has not been made in plastic. It would be nice to have the alternate head. And as you know resin would be more detailed and crisp. On the other hand Chuck, dozens of copies suddenly appearing would automat...

Re: Mobius Riddler preview art
...I had no interest in a comic character, but that set would get me interested :D Out of all of the villains on the show, Frank Gorshin's Riddler has always been one of my favorites. I was looking forward to the kit until I saw they had sculpted him in the suit rather than the more well-known leot...

Re: Moebius Grim Reaper....
But remember, MOEBIUS 1/8 tends to range from Aurorish 1/9 on the '66 bat-kits to closer to 1/7 on the Frankenstein, Mummy, Creature and Dracula. Todd, the timing might be good to get Joe to do the kneeling Scrooge and a replacement arm for the Reaper, I will give Dave M a shout to see about accessi...
