Re: King of Skull Island
Thank you for the very kind words. I figured this is the year of Godzilla and Kong so it was time to post this one. As regards the size of the figures, Kong is about 8 or 9 inches tall. The girl figure was about 1/48 scale.

Kong of Skull Island
Here is a diorama of Kong battling a proto-zilla type creature. It is supposed to take place many years before the arrival of the Denham expedition. Perhaps the Godzillasaurus was exiled and years later turned up on Odo Island? If so, well, you know the rest of the story. The Kong is by Fantamation,...

Re: Asu Kobo Gabarah Commission
Outstanding! You really brought out the personality of this character. Just that wicked look on his face would be enough to be intimidating.

Re: *FLASH* NAVY BATTLES KONG ON TOP OF THE EMPIRE STATE BLDG - AKA CIPRIANO KONG
Fabulous! A marvelous collaboration not unlike the geniuses behind the original King Kong. If this project had been around in 2005 I believe a dirigible would have turned up in Peter Jackson's Kong.

Re: KOC Godzilla 64 Commission 2
It is incredibly lifelike, which is not easy to do given the inherently artificial nature of the subject. Outstanding!

Re: T'sFacto GMK Godzilla Commission
Excellent interpretation of GMK. The subtle purple hue contrasts the beauty of the design, with the scariness of the character, not to mention his royalty.

Re: GORGO: Chimes At Midnight
Thanks Jon! By the way, the Gorgo is a much smaller figure than the one used in the "Chimes" diorama. Its about 3 1/2 inches high.

Re: Tyrannosaur Terror! A dinosaur diorama
Thank you very much! And thank you for identifying the ankylosaur and ornithomimus resin kits source as Makino. By the way, there are (styrene) raptors in there too. So, there is a representative smattering of model manufacturing types present. Traveling with dioramas does have its hazards. I took t...

Tyrannosaur Terror! A dinosaur diorama
Here is a diorama I completed about 20 years ago. The ankylosaur and ornithomimus are resin kits (Japan?). The T-rex is a vinyl Kaiyodo kit. https://i.postimg.cc/JssRSKGt/358558508-OQVc-GU-ph.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/0K5sn0Tk/358558421-Sx-KXvh-ph.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/mtcqsnyx/392553432vd-JZph-ph...

Re: Godzilla Minus 0
As a lifelong Godzilla fan, what I found most amazing was how fresh the film was but still honoring most of G's traditions. Yes, I think it is the best Godzilla film since the original. A success on every level including the soundtrack.

Who says Godzilla has to be a dull color. This intense coloration redefines how to model Godzilla. Groundbreaking achievement Jon!

Re: Kothoga vs Conquistadors
Thank you very much! I do like adding figures to the dioramas I make. Be they monsters or people, they can set an emotional tone and add a kinetic feel to the scene. Just about all of my future projects will have their own "cast of characters". There are no small parts, only small actors. ...
