I do not believe it is being made anymore. Heck that stuff was around when I was just a teen.
Smooth-on makes a number of expanding foams that should work.

I like to use the Badger primer in a red brick color over flesh. Stynylrez Covers great and is durable.

Re: Screamin' Models - history and Rocketeer question
I read the article and wondered how I ever missed them. I was living in the Albany area and must have drove past their first shop many times visiting my mom. They weren't kidding about it being a bad area.

Re: Naboo Royal Yacht
I did a figure of the Mandalorian and used Testors Chrome Silver Enamel. It wa airbrushed and turned out super shiny Beskar. I used glossy Tamiya black for a base. Only downside is it took about three or four days to harden where I could handle him.

Re: Real space Models Vanguard & Explorer 1
Thanks. I've been looking at the 1/72 scale GLV. The size of the Vanguard and Explorer shows just how fast rocketry advanced.
Now Kev you need to treat yourself to one of those 1/6 scale astronauts.

Kev,
Do you have a preference between New Ware and Real Space? I am looking at the Gemini Titan launch vehicle. I always lovrd the look of the Gemini craft.

Re: WARNING! Do not….
For 13 years I shipped and ordered aircraft parts all over the world and the US. UPS, Fedex, Fedex International, USPS, Network Courier, Sterling courier and some overseas brokers. There is no one reliable system to ship. Even counter to counter can get lost. A courier service managed to lose a part...

Re: The Kappa
Looks fantastic. The Kappa would also look great with the right figure. Dioramas are tough to pull off because you can have a world class figure but mediocre scenery and it detracts from your figure rather than enhancing it.

I think you mentioned in the article about using a different cockpit interior. Who makes it?

Looks great. The scratches are just weathering.
BTW, I almost expected to see Tom Paris and Harry Kim step out of the rocket.

Might I suggest using that goldish film they have for model a/c? It could alleviate some of the clear resin dullness and add another touch of realism.

Re: Am I being unreasonable?
I thought there was a WIP article on the cult site. Check out the FTC website for the rules on mail order including internet. Basically you are expected to ship in the time frame your offer advertises. If it isn't specified it is 30 days. After that the seller has to give you an option and an estima...

I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. Seriously it can be tough to follow all the Facebook pages. Amazing Figure Modeler trys to have ne listings but the lead time can render some information useless. The producers of very limited run kits have usually filled their lists and moved on by the tim...

Would you consider having the glacier part cast in clear rather than tinted clear? Transparent paint can do the job nicely and give the builder options for different colors
