Re: HERE COMES TROUBLE....Gotham City Bad Girls

This is really fantastic work. It is a killer display.

This may just be nit picking, but I would like to see more substance in the roof trusses and the angle structure off to the left...

I also use metallics on my hair to give it a very realistic sheen. Here's a Dexter head I painted using paints, pastels, and charcoal for the hairline and five o'clock shadow. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn243/DwaynePinkney/Dexter_zpsc93adbbb.jpg OMG that is freakin amazing. Re: My first build, Creature from the Black Lagoon...

I used 4 different color washes on the sand. A few more on the rocks, but the entire base was done with washes of color... Is that a typical procedure? Can you take a close-up of the base and post it when you get time? Looks like you've done some really nice work there, but it's difficult to make o...

Re: Beatles live...

Their heights are very similar, save Ringo, but their builds are different with John being the most "robust". That is if you could call any of them robust, they were all very slight. John does have a very characteristic stance when he plays. Very individual. I can't think of another musici...

Thanks for the kind words.

Oil or chalk pastels?

If you look at Ringos posture, you will note that he typically leans over the kit while he plays. Correcting this in the model will be the greatest challenge.

Re: Beatles live...

The scale of their bodies are a bit off in respect to each other, but that is being very nitpicky. Also, on the nitpicky side is the position of their hands and fingers and facial expressions. They appear to have been sculpted individually, not collectively. A little rework will be required to make ...

Thanks...

Ok, if I got this right, they have no website, email or phone. Just snail mail?

Re: Beatles live...

I've done some searching about and all I come up with are those old revell models of the 60's. I was hoping to find a quality live likeness. I am wishing to build a diorama of the Beatles at the Ed Sullivan show, but have not found anything suitable as of yet... Sculpting them up myself is kind of a...
