Re: Vampirella Custom Conversion NSFW (some nudity)
Possibly the best painting of skin tones I've ever seen. And, well, you absolutely nailed the nipples; very, very realistically colored and shaded. Had they not been done so very well, they would have sunk the rest of the painting. You have a trained eye for detail and a lot of needed patience.

Re: DenComm Dungeon critter
Thank you! You may have solved it. I'll take a closer look at the rats that came with the kit later today. It does look like a sloth in the photo, but, of course, why would a dungeon have a sloth?

DenComm Dungeon critter
Was starting to build the DenComm Monster Scenes dungeon and noticed a critter in a photo on the instruction page. Looks like it didn't come with the kit, or did it? My kit doesn't have the part and it isn't in the Animal Pit kit, either. See photo and circled area. Looks like a sloth or lemur or so...

Re: Wonderfest? A place to sell built models?
Do you mean an average Joe with buildups can get a table and sell his completed kits, like a dealer would sell his unbuilt ones?
Thank you...
Thank you...

Wonderfest? A place to sell built models?
Haven't been to Wonderfest in many years. So long ago, Sarah and I can't remember hardly anything about it! Pretty sure we stayed at Story, Indiana or maybe Nashville, Indiana and drove to Louisvills for the day. Anyway, I see it is still going every year, probably huge now. Is this a good venue to ...

Re: I think I have a problem
I don't know how old any of you are here, but I'll tell ya that I, at age 61, have finally arrived at the conclusion that all the models I have built cannot be handed down, as my daughter is just not into it and my wife? Well, she likes what I do, but wouldn't know what too do with 'em if I kicked t...

Re: Few of my finished builds
These are really nice..must've taken a long time for each of them, well worth the effort. I had similar ideas for Ghost and Pris of Castel-Maré, but was gonna have the ghost standing behind the bars...Your idea is MUCH better..Excellent. The Mummy's sarcophagus detail is strikingly good, too.

This is the Dark Shadows Chris Jennings werewolf....nice! He was the best character on the show, but did you know Chris Jennings' identical twin brother, Tom was a vampire in Collinwood BEFORE Chris arrived on the scene? Same actor, Don Briscoe (RIP) played both characters. Actually, he played the v...

This is really nice....I like dioramas, they allow for creativity with no two ever looking alike. Excellent painting, all the way around. I particularly like the colors of the wall and medical diagrams.

Re: Yagher Jekyll & Hyde Aurora box art tribute Diorama
In regard to Rocketeer's question: On the smallest table, by the painted window and curtain, there are two clear resin pieces, connected to one another by a small diameter plastic tube. These were tinted with some Tamiya clear colors , smoke and yellow. The LED under the flask actually flickers, but...

Here is Dr Jekyll, by now, well down the wrong road to complete and utter ruin. https://s26.postimg.cc/ncckp70u1/1._Full_no_lights.jpg https://s26.postimg.cc/60c83r7cp/2._Full_lit_day_2.jpg https://s26.postimg.cc/he3csp795/3._Full_Dark_lit_3.jpg https://s26.postimg.cc/630p4c0e1/4._Full_lit_dark_over...

Re: Creature and Julie - on board! (Jungle photo added)
I've always liked the idea of a backdrop against which a model can play off of. This works very well...almost a must for a Creature kit...really brings the fantastically painted figures to life. Jungle, water, creature and bathing beauty...go together like horse and carriage. Much better 'n a brick ...

Re: "Anybody there? Hey Sweden!"
Well done! Now, what we need from Carpenter's The Thing is a diorama of Doc Copper and MacReady looking at the gnarled two-headed (soon-to-be-determined-as-not yet-dead) thing laying in the snow, outside the wrecked Norwegian outpost.

Re: Female with Pet
Among other attractions of this rendering, I particularly like the "humid" look of the skin, as if it would actually feel clammy to the touch, but not actually wet. Very, very nice painting.
