Re: Mike Parks R.I.P.
I've got a ton of his work too. I loved his tiny terrors and the humor he brought to them. No other superdeforms worked for me. Others were always too cute, or trite, or goofy. His were just right. He was always a pleasure to speak with too. Never too busy for a chat about things. I'll miss him at w...

Re: Selling kits without a table
Glad this didn't get out of hand. From what I have seen in years past, there is a way to sell some kits at the show without ticking anyone off. Make arrangements with one of the dealers that does have a table. Many times I have seen someone carrying one or two kits for another producer. I'm sure th...

Re: Ok, those going to Wonderfest ; how do we I'D each other
I tell 'ya what - why don't you bring them to my tables and people can swing by and pick them up. I'll have a Sharpie available for anyone who needs it. We are centrally located and very easy to find - as you come in the main doors, look straight ahead and slightly to the right for the Filmy's Girl...

mars attacks maquette
I acquired a mars attacks maquette off ebay years ago and just got around to removing the paint. It's a huge beast. I went to the internet to see if anyone had painted it well and found this. I was wondering if anyone knew who produced this kit as i only have 3 pieces. I have the body, the head, and...

It's really good scale with my geo kong. which is a bit smaller than the darkhorse you have, but way more in scale than the fay that come built in the kit! http://www.ebay.com/itm/K...

Re: Need advice on seamline
you might want to take a sander to the rectangle first to even out the edges. making it look more machined and straight would help the illusion of it belonging there.

how to paint a satin texture?
I made this for a client and the suit has a satiny texture to it. how do I get that? I blocked in the colors and was hoping to airbrush in the hi/lo points then coat it, but in my experiments that is not going to happen like I want it to with a spray. I also toyed with a coating of alclad and a meta...

Need help with madlabs predator
I dug out an old madlabs predator the other day to build. unfortunately, it doesn't come with a pic and I am not sure where some parts go! The shoulder gun doesn't seem to sit anywhere in particular. If that's what this is. I found a pic on buckwheats page, but I don't see that part. Maybe on his ba...

Re: Wonderfest 2013
Now see. I thought there was actually more styrene there this year. Which, for me, was a good thing. LOL! Don't get me wrong, I love me some styrene. But I don't want to see the same 24 kits at every table. I want to see some cool new stuff. Last year it just seemed like the same polar lights, pega...
