cool- Some brave modelling there! I love a challenge me...well, I love to hack kits apart and then not finish them for years.
You're going great guns tho - I cant wait to see how this looks together. Don't remember seeing a lit spinner before and this looks ace already.

Re: Drokk! Bisley style mean machine wip + update down the page
No really.... an update! Right, where were we? Having started on this guy again after a considerable lay off I found I really wasn't so happy with how he looked, so i set about tightening him up. Some sanding, some scrapeing, some avesing an i was happy... er. I still wasn't sure I'd get the look I ...

Re: Bare metal plastic polish int uk????
Yeah, just to polish it. I'd bought the bare metal polish ( bare metal is the brand name - same guys as the foils and the panel scriber and comes in the same style bottle as micro sol/set) before at a show and in modelzone I think, but i'll be jiggered if i can find the stuff now!

Bare metal plastic polish int uk????
Allo folkes, hope you're all well. Just wondering, anyone know where I can get me some bare metal plastic polish in the UK? Or failing that, something I can use in its stead? Can I just use brasso, or is it too abrasive? Can it be cut with something maybe? Can't find the bare metal stuff anywheres! ...

I get such a kick out of your stuff Tony. Always so well executed and always a subject that's so far out of left field it makes absolute sense! looking forward to seeing it finished. *edit - also, on what Mike said - the grey is hard to get over here and expensive when you do find it however...one b...

Nice! Cool pose.
I'd go with plasticard for the blades. Any thickness you could want and easy to shape and clean up.

Re: ANY ONE SCULPT IN 1/3?? MATERIAL ADVICE PLS...
Not in 1/3rd really, but I sculpt plenty of larger bits in wet clay for work. Long as you keep it wet its pretty easy to avoid cracking. Do you intend to fire it? if so, I'm definitely in no place to advise you... but assuming you're either not going to be keeping it, or intend on moulding the sculp...
