Re: Vincent Bordogna
Ian, Paul, Buc Wheat and everyone else that commented and remembered Vin, thank you and I hope that you have remembered the best of Vin, his enthusiasm and his contribution to the hobby. Paul, I know what you are saying about customs and shipping. Vin would always offer me a gratis kit but I refused...

Re: Vincent Bordogna
It was a year ago today that I last spoke with Vin, as always the main subject was, what are we going to do next? Vin’s enthusiasm was always bubbling up. I thought as a remembrance that I would go through the production process and talk about some of the ideas that never made it into a rubber bath....

Re: Vincent Bordogna
It is with great sadness that I write this. I heard of Vin's death on Friday. I last spoke to him at the beginning of this month, probably the day before he died or even the day he died. These words will not adequately convey my feelings. I have never enjoyed writing, I am a visual thinker and findi...

Re: Time After Time - look what they done to my film, ma
I picked the original movie up on DVD recently, probably because someone here said they would like to see a version of the time machine produced. I'd never seen it and must admit I haven't got far with it. But a couple of points, HG Well's would never have needed any encouragement to go dating! He w...

Re: BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN FINISHED
Excellent work Very Impressive. But I have one qualm: the wrapping on the arms. Wouldn't the doctor use, if not medical, at least new bandages? Maybe something equivalent to modern 'ACE' bandages? As painted, they look like old mummy wrappings. I've made this comment before regarding other Bride pa...

Re: Old Mac user grumbles at the march of time.
I've also got a copy of photoshop elements, which I think I got as a download with a tablet! I was wondering could you copy your adobe suite via Timemachine onto a hard disc and then onto a new mac. Or would it expect you to copy the operating system as well? Either way good luck, I guess I'll jump ...

Re: Old Mac user grumbles at the march of time.
Thanks for the reply Mark. It is an old version, 10.6.8. which is as far as this goes I think. I will try a different browser. Out of interest, what are you thinking of up grading to?
Cheers

Old Mac user grumbles at the march of time.
Hi, I'm using a 7 yrs+ Mac Book. I've got the latest Hotmail/Outlook and it hates it. It now hangs to the point of crashing, then hangs Safari after that. It's also disabled the drag and drop facility, as has FB. In fact I now can't up load anything to FB without emailing it via gmail to my phone, t...

'Kane' kit glimpsed in Sky TV advert?
I've only seen this ad once on UK TV.
It's the one for fluid TV, where a blob comes out of the screen and goes through a room, passing over several toys.
I think I saw the Kane figure crouched over a drum!
Anyone else know what the hell I'm talking about?

Very nice work, crisp and clean. Did you make the phaser as well?
