The cold hard fact is that up against other forms of entertainment they are poor value for money. If you read every word they rarely take more than 10 minutes to get through.

Liquitex do a flexible modelling paste that's water soluble, you can apply it with a brush and wipe away the excess with a damp cloth.

I use a black acrylic primer as undercoat then use Tamiya Nato Black as my first highlight through the AB. I then add flesh to this colour to keep getting lighter. if you need to you can then go back in with pastel blacks to tighten up the shading or I use a createx AB black to outline collars etc. ...

Most of us who build resin kits are more than capable of repairing small amounts of damage or areas of poor casting.

So I would be inclined to drive a flat screwdriver between the figure and the base until something gives.

(known as brute force and ignorance here in the UK).

You have to realise that the whole brush costs about the same as an Iwata needle and nozzle. I have used them for about 18 months and find them excellent for figure painting and if they block then its a simple case of replacing the needle and nozzle and off you go. These brushes are disposable - yes...

70 psi will damage the seal on the iwata if you use it continuously at this pressure and causes bubbles to blow back and froth up the paint.

Rubber bands - flexible stretchy, don't know if they will deteriorate over time but I've used them for belts then moulded the piece.
