Re: Rest in peace TONY SALCINES of Rebel Resin

I don't think I ever interacted with him, but it's sad to know another part of the GK community is gone. Condolences to his family and friends.

The third model rocket is a diecast mechanical toy bank made by Berzac in the mid 50s.

Oh, we DID! It was an overwhelming blur most of the weekend, but we had fun. Only regrets were not meeting more people, missing out on the group picture, and NOT getting a picture with you! I thought we took a shot when we met on Saturday, but there weren't any!

Re: COUNTDOWN TO WONDERFEST

I'm stoked to be finally going to WF! It's not how I wanted it to come together--I don't have anything to enter in the contest, and I can't participate in any activities other than discussions and hanging out in the dealers rooms, but I'm really looking forward to finally being there and meeting all...

Re: 2019 show

Hey all! A bit of good news! Looks like I'm finally going to make my way down to WF. It's been a long standing dream of mine to go, but for various reasons I could never get the stars to line up in my favor. Because of my diagnosis last year, my entire wishlist had suddenly become a bucket list. Wel...

Re: And now we've lost BRIAN HAMILTON

Brian was a good guy. Damned talented. The kind of talent that didn't require a huge ego to support. Another loss to the community.

Re: Our Good Friend John Tucky

I'm having trouble processing this news. We haven't talked in a couple months and I was thinking the other day about reaching out to him. It's going to take time for me to wrap my head around the idea that he's gone. Sorry. Can't seem to get make it fit in my head.

Oh, that looks great! Didn't know anyone made it in this scale. I have an older one in 1/72. Love what you did with it!

Re: Back at the Discovery.

Kaiyodo is coming out with an even larger styrene kit of the Discovery ship from 2001: A Space Odyssey. It'll be 63" as opposed to the 41" long Moebius kit.
