After building the HAWK Vanguard satellite and noting that the Atomic sub Nautilus is in the opening credits of the 2014 Godzilla movie, I felt nostalgic still. I dug out the Lindberg model and built it. It's nowhere near accurate but it is iconic (and an old kit). After building it, had to watch Ice Station Zebra again too.....

That looks great, Dale. I have the same kit. Yeah, it's far from accurate, but it's a classic Paul Lindberg kit from "The Lindberg Line"!

As an FYI she is docked and on exibit at the sub base in Ct. You can tour the inside of her right up to the engineering sections. The museum the navy has there is a must see for sub fans.

At least the propellers don't look like bathtub knobs. Unless you replaced them, perhaps? I remember the Aurora kit had them.
