Finished my Moebius 8 window Seaview

#1 Post by Dale Stringer »

Finally finished this - apologies for the all in one go build pics - Lighting can be swapped from main to emergency as done in the minefield scene in the movie. :D ...Added some fibre-optic runs to the conning tower and opened a door....

Apologies for the change in picture size - This was during the time of the Photobucket melt down events...(I'm way behind the times I know!)

I will get around to taking a pic on a neutral back ground one day hopefully :)

This looks terrific! Off topic but related... are there any good reference books on the Seaview that are available?

Very impressive! The way that you lighted the detail really has created a museum quality piece. Is the photoetch from Paragrafix?

Thanks for commenting - I only used the internet for reference pics - not sure on any books for reference material unless there’s an Irwin Allen one available? Also, yes I used the Paragraphics P/E set - excellent up grade for the kit. (And the interior decal set and VooDoo electronics lighting and spares from other lighting VooDoo kits )
