Hi Gang,
Here is my lastest project. It’s the 1/350 scale Medical Frigate from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back. It’s an all resin garage kit by JPG. It wasn’t made for lighting so there were many solid cast resin parts that needed to be drilled out to allow for LEDs and wires. I started the painting with Model Master enamel grays and then all the other colors were done with acrylics. I used some oils to break up the paneling and give the ship some scale. Then I used a combination of acrylic washes and pastel chalks for weathering. I’m still learning weathering techniques so there’s a lot of room for improvement but I’m happy with my first attempt at this scale.

Very cool.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?
Lord, what fools these mortals be! -Puck

Really looks amazing. My favorite shot is the one from behind, where you can see the engines lit up.
But yeah, you did a ton of work to open that up to light and such.
Can't believe you are going to finish that other one in less than 2 weeks

That looks outstanding. Jimi does good casting work. And you certainly hit it out of the park.
The weather looks good to me. My take is always less= more.
