MPC/R2 Barnabas Collins

#1 Post by Night-Owl »

Greetings! Still catching up on posting pics of finished kits. This is an out of box build up of the MPC/R2 Barnabas Collins kit. This is the fourth time I've built this kit but the first time I've done it as Barnabas. As always questions and comments welcomed.

Killer work Rick... Beautifully Done! :thumb: :thumb:

While I love all the replacement parts for this kit, there is still a certain appeal to the original and doing an out of the box build... I'll be doing
a couple of these (eventually) myself one with the excellent replacement head and one just OOB.

Thanks for the kind words Mark! I'm tinkering with the idea of using a Barnabas kit, a Cushing replacement head and customizing him into...The Shadow!

Great job Rick!

I have one with the CoPP replacement head but the weak plastic and rubber bands are scaring me. LOL Yours turned out real nice.

The Shadow would be a nice conversion for sure. Nice job on this one, you made the original head look pretty good!

As usual, you nailed it!
The shading on the face, especially around the eyes, is top notch. And that mouth, looks perfect.
Nice work all the way around. Even on those little guys on the base.
