That's a good point you brought up Trevor. I would rather have them spaced out more, generate good sales and make them more confident to release other figure kits. If the dumped the whole series all at once, by the time I could afford to buy them all they would be discontinued and gone. Then I'd be stuck hoping to find them at a decent price. Sure would be nice to have lots of money!!

If they squadron has a sale at $12 a piece you will refuse buying them all at once... :?:
Sure... :D

Yeah. But that is what everyone else would do too. Which would then translate to low sales overall out of the gate.
I think that was one of the things that doomed the Monster Scenes to low sales numbers for Moebius.
Too many kits all at once, so lots of kits sat on shelves and in warehouses.

That's true - my LHS still have a few of the Monster Scenes laying around and not that I would refuse to buy them if $12 each but even a full set at that price with shipping is sometimes out of my price range depending on the circumstances. I would rather see them slowly released. If kits sit and then are discounted really low the problem is that the LHS and distributors will be hesitant in ordering any other figure kits in the future assuming they won't sell very well either. Sometimes a really cheap price is a bad thing.

Was always a great thing when you built a kit with action features and it actually worked!!!! They didn't make some of those kits kid friendly back then - some weren't even adult friendly! But that was the charm of those kits back in the 60's and 70's.

These completed models move don't they? Is there a lever or a button to make them do that?

The originals had moving parts - had rubber bands that moved arms, etc when you moved a lever. I would imagine the reissues will still have the moving parts but you never know? :?: :?:

I will say that I was very excited when I heard that this was going to be available again.
But after taking a look at the added decal sheet, I'm REALLY impressed. That little extra
is going to really make this kit better than when originally released. And it will still have
that 'zap action' aspect too.

That decal sheet IS nice!! Really makes the price of the kit even more reasonable.

Taking a look at cultTvMan, they have it as "mid-to late 2017."
So I guess that narrows it down between tomorrow and the end of the year.

I remember having the originals and thought I was so cool when I got the rubber bands on and got the mechanism to work that I'll prolly get one *for old times sake.*
