Awesome! I had been watching that since the first time it was listed at around $999 or so. Great buy that will surely go up in value, and is a one of a kind piece of history!

Thanks Chuck, I haven't unwrapped it yet( Each piece is wrapped up like the Mummy)
But over the Christmas Holidays I plan on opening it all and shooting pictures of the process,
....I'm interested to see the Heads side by side and I'll post a few shots here ....

Nice price you got it all for. I watched it originally too, glad it came down in price and you were able to add it to your Ultra Rare Collection!

Hey! He's promised to leave that to me in his will!

These photos really prove what a great job Monarch did translating the original to plastic.

Heya Denis.

Many thanks for the special surprises. I don't have a computer mouse but my latest project parts are now resting comfortably on a new soft pad. Really cool and clever.

All the best,
Jy

True, but there are two versions of the head, so one has not been made in plastic. It would be nice to have the alternate head. And as you know resin would be more detailed and crisp.

On the other hand Chuck, dozens of copies suddenly appearing would automatically DIMINISH the value of the unique piece Denis has been able to obtain. Sure, it would be WAAAY cool to make something like that available and I'm sure MANY people would APPRECIATE the opportunity to have a shot at having one for their very own, but THE most important thing is to PRESERVE the uniqueness (and of course HISTORIC context of this monumental piece), everyone else be damned. Of course I have admittedly little interest in the character of Nosferatu (black and white AND silent: YAWN). Not to mention the fact when it comes to marketing expertise or business savvy... well you've heard the old expression "Not the sharpest knife in the drawer" ? Call me the plastic spoon, LOL. But we are hijacking a cool thread; hey Denis, cool find. But if I were you, when some slickster shows up with an offer to produce these, if I were you, I'd run screaming from the room. BTW, the styrene Metaluna Mutant kit I set aside for you from Chiller went out yesterday, so check your inbox for a tracking #. :D

Did it? What brand do you have? I've got an Equinox, and every time I type more than 3 sentences it blows a circuit and sets off the smoke detector. 8)

I got mine from Harbor Freight. It runs on a nickel cadmium battery that won't charge properly and it only works when the sarcasm is particularly obvious.

All I will say (for once) is it pays to read between the lines (and it doesn't HURT to PM the appropriate parties 8) )
