Looks to me like they dropped the female figure and have new arm poses for the Creature.

Kind Regards,

I read that the new arms are cast in resin.

I like that pose alot better than him carry the girl. :like
Travelers to unknown regions would be well-advised to take along the family dog. He could just save you from entering the wrong gate.

I like this pose too - I may get one and get rid of the girl carrying one I haven't started yet.

I have this on the way, so I can do a side by side comparison of the two kits if anyone is interested.
Plausible deniability.

I do too. I spoke with the sculptor, Adam Dougherty, at Monsterpalooza back in 2012, and he told me he had sculpted two sets of arms for the kit because Moebius had originally planned to release both versions at the same time. It was only after he had submitted everything that they told him this version had been cancelled. I'm happy to see they finally decided to release it after all, but I wonder how many modelers won't buy it because they already have the first version. :-k

Just cracked the box and yes, the new arms (and hands) are in resin.

Excellent casting by the way, seamless with the gates cut off, Arms are beautiful, one hand has two thin spots in the webbing with a few bubbles, but nothing concerning whatsoever.

I think this will get immediate bench time.
Plausible deniability.
