Polar Lights Headless Horseman

#1 Post by frankiefreak »

Has anyone had trouble with the pieces not fitting together on this one? It's the reissue version with the Jack o' lantern in the riders hand. Almost every part left large gaps when fitted together. So much putty work that I gave up and put it back in the box! Just wondering if I got a warped kit. Thanks!

Hmm... don't recall having that much trouble with the fit of this kit (I have the re-release too).

The fit on the horse in mine, the reissue, was poor. I decided just to paint the thing, or I'd still be puttying it.

I remember doing significant detail re-scribing especially on the horse legs and breast collar decorations. The rider figure wasn't too bad for seam work but there was lots of re-scribing to restore detail lost in the mold process on the torso.

Agree - spent a lot of time re-texturing the horse's legs, face and rear, but no fit issues.

The hair on the horse legs was an issue right from the get go.
I remember tons of talk about that on the PL board when the kit first came out.
