I have both grey and purple or pink Mutant. But its summer,Vacation's,Yard work ect. That slows a down kit building for some during summertime.I though have taken a back burner to kit building for now and concentrating on getting my life back in order after losing my mom and my German Shepard this past Xmas.Plus spending time with my German Shepard Puppy who is a ball of fire in my house and working on my 70 Dart with 340 in it  .

I think the other reason for the drop off, is because they are still available.
At first, everyone was worried they wouldn't get one. Now, months later, they are still out there for purchase.

Has anyone see the light blue colored plastic Mutant? Someone on ebay is offering them (ebay # 222778428337). I've only seen the pink and gray ones. Have more of them been molded since last year?

I've believe that is Phil that owns the Mutant and only way your going to get that Blue is if you by the set.

Those thermometers are pretty cool - can't pay those prices for one though. I also wonder just how many Mutants there really are. Seen 3 colors now plus 2 test shot colors.

Sometimes the temperature is way too cold for some molders in the winter.

I was looking around on ebay today (first time in a really long time) and ran across these in glow plastic now.

So, has anyone been keeping track of how many releases / colors there have been so far?

There were also a few test shots in different colors - I think either 2 or 3 that were on ebay a while back. They were listed once each and never saw another. I wish I would have saved the photos now!

I'm happy I finally got a MM in blue plastic! Yay! Never thought I'd be an owner of one of these babies! Don't need a colection of the various colors but just thrilled I was able to acquire the one I got! :)

I'm still waiting for the price to come down a bit more.

I see they are now listed for $50, which is a lot cheaper than the original price.
But still more than I am willing to pay for one.
If it gets down to around $40, I may finally own one.

Bumping this almost two years later, now that the Monsters of the Movies Godzilla is on the market. Looks like the Mutant got as low as $50 and more recent sales are back up to $70. The price for Godzilla is now $135 shipped in the States.
