That MLEV5 is beautiful. There was one in the contest last year at WF.
Too big and expensive for me, but it is a great looking kit.
I'm always surprised when I see that one for sale as a kit. I remember seeing the original scratchbuilt model in a hobby shop window in the now-closed-and-demolished Pinellas Square Mall in Pinellas Park, FL back in the 1980s. I dunno if Randy Cooper was a customer, or if he actually worked there at the time, I didn't actually meet him til 2012.

Only styrene I grabbed at WF was a Moebius Penguin kit, and the conversion set to make it look like the monster from Young Frankenstein.

I picked up a Moebius Jupiter 2 & one of the new Death Dealer kits (also by Moebius). I'm looking forward to working on them, but it's been ages since I worked with styrene.

Waiting for a Revell 1/150 Black Pearl, AMT/Ertl 1/350 Klingon BoP. Ordered but not in Stock yet.

Fujimi's Chibi Godzilla with Maser or a Type 10 Tank might be next.

Oh yeah, I got that, and the mecha-godzilla a while back. Forgot about those.
Boxes were larger than I expected too.

Came home from WF today with the 2 most recent pirates of the caribbean reissues, and Moebius grim reaper. As well as a multi-pack of sd gundam kits.

Just before I left my chibi king ghidorah showed up in the mail.

Thanks to the house, and health issues, I haven't been able to buy anything since WF really.
So, has anyone else scored any cool styrene recently?

Most recent buys for me were...

Moebius - The Joker 1966
Round 2 - Jolly Roger: In The Pinch Of Peril
Round 2 - Jolly Roger: Dismay Be The End

Now if I can just push myself to actually start working on them 8)

CultTVMan had a awesome flash sale for the Moebius Viper twin pack at more than 50% off, so I got that, and then I picked up a Headless Horseman from Megahobby to have ready for Halloween.

I grabbed those pirate kits at WF. Didn't want to miss out on those, and the price was great.
I really want to get my horseman done some day as well.
Even if I were up and running, I cannot imagine being able to finish a kit this time of year.
Between all the pre-winter prep, and Halloween decorating, just not much time.

I'm thinking, when I do finally get a chance to get back to kits, I need to do an old-school build.
Just pull something out and do it in a day, like when I was a kid. I'm thinking the Apeman glow-head.
Easy kit, and I have 3 of them. So doing a quick fun build of one of them isn't going to rob me of a chance ot do and over-the-top build down the line.

I haven't been around much lately for over a year. I've done the 1966 Catwoman, Penguin, and Robin. Also a resin prototype of the AW Batman. The Spiderman and Green Goblin on the gargoyles. Mobius Wonder Woman and the Spock 3 headed serpent kit but with a resin Kirk head and brass photoetch for the communicator. Starting the 1966 Batgirl 1/5sc soon. Model on. :2guns:

Also have some PE coming from CZ for my 1/72 Gato sub.

Wow. I had to go back a ways to find this thread.

Guess that's what happens when I've been out of the game for a bit.
Well, I treated myself to a box of goodies from Cultman this week.
This just arrived on my doorstep today.

The box also contained the AFM Kaiju issue, and Todd's 1/13 Vincent Price head.

I'm going to see if I can finish that Haunted Mansion kit over this long weekend.
It won't be fancy paint, or fully seamed, but I want to have it complete and operational before I go back to work.

I got that Godzilla kit a while back - doubt I'll ever build it but mainly got it for the cool backdrop.

Same.
Though hopefully, once I get into full swing, I may want a change of pace and actually do the jeep.
