Pegasus is becoming very lazy and it seems they don't care anymore.
Won't release the fly kit in any form. make promises of something new
then back pedal over and over again.
Nostalgia can be a bad thing, especially when you are led by it.

Just seen this on the UK IPMS FB page - NO pictures of the Fly itself. Is it the Moebius one?

No, I believe the Moebius master is in limbo. This is not Jeff Yagher's sculpture.

No one acquired anything.
Scott hung on to all the molds.

My personal take on the whole thing.
Scott closed the doors because he didn't have the time to deal with it anymore.
Between family life, and his medical practice he just couldn't give any more time to the model business.

Over the years though, he has still been drawn back to doing more.
(just like most people in the hobby, many leave, but most seem to find their way back eventually)
This time though, he is doing most everything behind the scenes. That way there isn't all the pent up expectations like before.

I always said Monarch was more akin to a garage kit company than a styrene company. Scott creates these pieces for the love of it. Because he wants to see them realized in styrene like Aurora would have done.

:like I think Scott keeping things under wrap is the best thing - when something eventually comes out, great. Until then we all have plenty of stuff to work on! It doesn't bother me in the least if he takes years to get something out the door. I'm grateful he even takes the time to offer his love and passion for models to give us what he has so far. I'm not sure I would tackle a project like that, has to consume what little free time Scott has.

For sure, Scott created Monarch because he enjoys it and that's also why he's bringing it back. But he's doing it on a more low-key way, and if one project succeeds then that increases the chances of him moving forward with another one.

Scott is a straight shooter and I think it's a wise move on his part to keep things low key this go around. My understanding is it's one man show and he took on a crap ton of unfair flack from impatient people beating him up for delays in output in the past. His product is first rate and I'm happy to wait for it to become available in it's own good time. He deserves to have a life outside the hobby and he doesn't owe anyone anything. He does it because he loves the hobby and wants to bring some of these subjects to market as time permits.

Since Pegasus, bought Moebius , Moebius is basically dead ..
nothing new will come out.. It would of been nice if Frank could of kept it going.
Pegasus is basically dead too. nothing but car and airplane reissues.
