Humans on AMC ....any watchers?

#1 Post by GUITARWORX »

Just finished the season and I think it was brilliant writing and the actors that portrayed the Robots did a sensational job.

Loved it from start to finish.
I happened to mention it to someone at work and all of a sudden five other people said they were watching it too.
Great series.

It raises all kinds of social and economic questions as well: Replacing humans (wages and benefits) with synths; undermining morale and ambition (why work hard to become xyz professional when a synth can be programmed); slavery of a sentient being...
Good series.

Best moment for me (I'm paraphrasing here):
"I don't know why humans don't like synths"
"I expect it's our plot to take over the world and make you all slaves . . . Joking"

Just started going back and watching the season. Nice writing, With the exception of William Hurt (why does he always play every roll the same way) I think the cast is fantastic so far. Excited to see what the rest of the season and the next has in store.

Enjoy the rest of the season. Great intelligent writing that brings up some very good questions
about what is life and what it is to be a human
