The Punisher on Netflix - November 17th 2017

#1 Post by Heavy Metal Spike »

.

On to "The Seventh Son" as regards the Netflix/Marvel universe . . .

All the teasers have been pretty crappy - frustrating given how AWESOME the actor plays the part AND how wonderfully he was woven into Season 2 of Daredevil.

This is the first decent trailer - although I could have done without the Metallica "music".

YES!

Finally! Something other than those stupid teasers they have been releasing.

And this looks amazing!

And, despite your feelings about Metallica, I loved the music in the trailer, gave it some awesome atmosphere.

I was wrong. That's what I get for believing something written on the internet.

Even the interwebz machine is wrong sometimes :)

(* I also wonder if they may have adjusted dates because of Las Vegas *)

I did hear they pushed back the release date because of Las Vegas. Not sure when it is pushed back to though.

Another awful trailer with more awful "music" . . .
But we DID get a confirmed date of Fri 17th November 2017.

I'm no longer looking forward to this.

While I am not keen on the latest twist to the storyline that this trailer reveals, I am still looking forward to this movie.
Maybe not with as much excitement as before this trailer, but I am glad I am prepared now for the direction they chose to take.
By lowering my expectations now, there is a much better chance I will be pleasantly surprised once I view it. I have faith that they will give us a great story.

My Son started watching on his own - I couldn't get enthused about it.

I'll wait to see what he thinks - he has pretty good taste.

I've only seen the first episode (been binge-watching the final Longmire season) but really enjoyed what I saw in the first episode.

I am 3 episodes in and am enjoying the story so far.Not every episode has to be a bang out for me.I understand that there is a story to be told through a season and that's how I view my shows.

Loving it so far.

JUST finished E11 - only 2 episodes left.

This goes STRAIGHT to the top of the NETFLIX chain-of-command, passing Daredevil 2 and Jessica Jones who DID (jointly) hold the top spot for me previously.

8 onwards is a TOTAL roller-coaster. Friggin' GENIUS.

I CANNOT fault this (well - a few minor niggles - but we can cover those once a few more folks have got their feet wet so I don't spoil stuff).

think I'm on 7 now... trying hard not to rush thru them and alternating.

Started watching "Mind Hunt" to help slow me down... someone on FB
mentioned this one and said ep2 hooked him, so thought I'd ck it out.
So far it's ok.

Enjoying Punisher alot, so far.
