My family thanksgiving tradition
When I was young I remember every Thanksgiving sitting in front of the TV watching channel 11.
It’s a shame they don’t play them any more. Thank god for dvds

Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Plausible deniability.
Re: My family thanksgiving tradition
I also remember watching the original Kong and Mighty Joe Young on Thanksgiving every year...those were the good old days. Did they show Son of Kong too? It's been so long I can't remember.

I couldn’t find my copy of March of the Wooden Soldiers, but that was part of the lineup.

One of my earliest memories is my brothers tying me to a chair and sticking my in front of Creature Features showing the original Frankenstein. The house it happened in puts me at 4 or 5 years old.LOBOREX wrote:Yeah, think your right. creature features and chiller hi spots of the week back in the day.ausf wrote:Oh yeah. That is fantastic. I remember those days, plopped on the floor, one Godzilla after another. Only thing better was Monster week on the 4:30 Movie.
I also remember getting dropped off with friends in the theater for one Planet of the Apes after another, pretty sure from the first through Beneath in succession.

Re: My family thanksgiving tradition
When watching "The Thing" when it first came to theatres I watched using my fingers as a filter during the scariest parts. I looked around and my older sister was hiding under her seat.
Kids were more impressed by film in those days.
