"Godless" on Netflix

#1 Post by Scott M »

Binged on this over Thanksgiving. I thought it was excellent. Jeff Daniels is outstanding and the rest of the cast is great as well. Well written, well directed, different.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not a Western fan by any stretch, but getting close to a 9 on imdb is pretty impressive.
Plausible deniability.

Over 1/2 way thru it. Lots of familiar faces in this! Enjoying
the flashback/back stories, which are inserted very well throughout
the ep's!!

I binged this in the last few days. Yes, some familiar faces indeed!
I grew up on some fabulous " Western" movies.. could never go past a Clint Eastwood pic. :2guns:
I absolutely loved this series, and hated to get to the end of it. 10/10 for me!

Me too. Speaking of Eastwood, it reminded me a bit of "Unforgiven".

That was one of the best series I've seen in a long time. I'd put the writing, direction and photography up there with Breaking Bad and I don't say that lightly.

Outstanding, wish it was longer.
Plausible deniability.

The cinematography was fantastic. I found myself swiping at my face like a wanted to get the dirt off.
Acting was fantastic,Great role for Jeff Daniels.I was very happy with the ending that they were not together

Classic stuff. Proves yet again that having an interesting, three dimensional antagonist (aka 'The Big Bad') is a recipe for great entertainment.
