Rampage

#1 Post by timetraveler »

Just saw Rampage and enjoyed it a lot. Plenty of giant monsters and perhaps the best CGI gorilla I've ever seen. Watching the monsters "rampage" in downtown Chicago is a G-Fester's dream. (One of the creatures reminded me a lot of Anguirus). I would definitely like to have models of the creatures. :D

I agree. I saw it opening day and I enjoyed it very much. It was much better than I expected it to be. It was a nice change of pace to see it take place in Chicago.
Really liked the monster designs and I would love to see some kits made of the monsters.

There really seemed to be some classic kaiju inspiration in the designs. In addition to Anguirus, the flying monster was reminiscent of Varan. I look forward to adding the DVD/Blue-ray to the diorama reference library.

Looks like the mysterious rodent might be the key to the sequel.
