OK - I stand corrected  https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-48335099

The depths of inanity, stupidity, pointlessness and ignorance plumbed by this article have to be read to be believed - what the hell ?!?!?! Image Image

Thanks for the info concerning Castle Black... that makes
MUCH more sense now!

BBC... and you're suprised?! lol

up to season 5 in rewatch mode: Dany just got saved by Drogon in
the fight pit!! (sad they never do tell us where Drogon went off to
in all that time! Would have loved to have seen her put Dany down
next to 3 eggs and then curl down around them all in an end shot!)

Not at-all (I'm TRULY ashamed to say).

I used to be SO proud of their "down the middle / fair" approach . . . but the organisation has done an ever-increasing veer to the left during the last 10 years.

I still think they are the best of all the "news" sites that lean that way, so I use them for balance, but SOME of their reporters and commentators (like those in this article) seem to think their audience is stupid (but that is true for ALL the major "news" outlets these days).

Glad I'm no longer funding them though :D

I was thinking about it today.
If Jon wouldn't have told anyone, no one would have known he killed Dani.
The only other witness, flew off with the body.

He could have just been like
"We got into a fight and broke up. She got mad and flew off with her dragon saying she was done with this horrible continent"
Trevor Ylisaari

    • . . . I'm just hoping tomorrow nights 2-hour official documentary - "The Last Watch" - is more satisfying than the final episode was :)

Yeah - once again - I expected better. Loved the Motorhead fan though (go figure) :)

yeah... was expecting more myself. Way too much w/ that
idjit extra guy... (kept waiting for Ricky Gervais to show up in
the background... like we give a crap about extra's!)

and the whole crying during the reading... guess that's why
they're called 'actors'! Like they haven't scourged EVERY friggin'
script counting lines 40 times already!

moving on... hey! Good Omens tomorrow night!!

I absolutely loath the song, but I have to admit this was extremely well done.

Agreed 100% - the patience needed to do that - very impressive (and funny).

Thanks for sharing Mark

Season 8 has beaten out its previous record of most Emmy nominations in a single year by grabbing 32 total nominations for 2019.
    • . . . I can't believe that one of them is "Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series"

I'm all for the cast and crew receiving the credit they deserve for 8 Seasons of excellent work, but best writing for Season 8? Just a legacy nomination in my opinion.
