Did no one watch this ?
I thought it was an interesting first episode.Introducing the Players of the show
2 fight scenes that were Matrix effects with Kill Bill swords. It can get interesting .

I think I was hooked even before the first episode.
They played enough of the teasers during the commercial breaks for TWD that I already understood the concept - so I was looking forward to the show.
There's no question the fight scenes are really well done.
The "chosen one" element was a surprise, since that was never hinted at in the teasers, but I'm on board the for the first season.

I watched it and for the most part enjoyed it. Was waiting the female figure seen in the previews to do some fighting and I guess we will see that next episode. The fight scenes looked like they belonged in a big budget movie but I doubt I will stay interested in the show for too long.

Don't watch, which is why I didn't know.
Will have to check out some trailers and maybe give it a shot.

I'll give the Daniel Wu fight scenes an A+ and also it is cool seeing Marton Csokas on the show (had to look his name up, see him in a bunch of stuff but never can remember who he is). I can also get past the plot that all guns are banned, but so far my big sticking point is why are they raising poppy plants? Seems like in a post apocalyptic world there would be more valuable things to sell but somehow this baron seems to be doing pretty well.

This article does point out that it is nice to see a dystopian society that is not all dirty and nasty looking.

Their startup campaign for the series just interrupted 'The Walking Dead'. Quite annoying. Once it was shoved down the viewer's throat, I lost interest. Might be good, but I haven't watched.

Wonder if it will last more than one season.

Watched the 1st two episodes.
Great Kung Fu doesn't make a great show and it was some bang'n fight scenes.

Missed the rest of the season as it just didn't suck me in.

Each Warlord has his specialty, one grows the opium poppy, which with no pharmaceutical industry left would be the most valuable drug since nothing else is as good as opiates a pain killer.
Another is mentioned as controlling remaining petroleum based fuels. Though anyone could produce alcohol and vegetable oil based fuels for farm machinery , gasoline, diesel fuel and natural gas would be of tremendous value for all other fuel needs.
I haven't figured out what the others control yet, I've missed most of the episodes so far.

I ended up sticking with the entire season and with the cliff hanger last episode I guess there will be a season 2.
I enjoyed Sunny's character and also the Widow so I will stick with the show next year to see how it fleshes out.
