Will watch more sometime this weekend.
It's good, not have to see it now good, but looks like a close second to DD to me.
Just WAIT - trust me

Wow - that was INTENSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got through all 13 episodes of season 2 in 2 days.

1st 2 were a bit slow, but really picks up after that.

The BIG difference this season is you have so much invested in the characters - you care for all of them - and BOY is everyone put through it!

The acting is off the charts, and the casting (Total Recall meets Due South anybody?) & directing could NOT have been better.

Dark, deep, lots of screwed-up & broken people subjected to unimaginable events that would leave anyone MORE screwed-up & broken . . . and did I mention it was INTENSE?

I think I need a lie down.

PS: Nice to find out Jessica is in the Family :) (I honestly didn't know)
PPS: S02E07 gets my vote for best backstory ever from these Netflix series.

Amazing series. I said it once befor this is my favorite of the Netflix Marvel, maybe because the characters seem so real.
And Spike, you are right.I have never seen a series with so many broken people.

hmmmmm.... I really must be getting old.

the 1st 7eps were boring...snoozeville! Didn't move the plot along one iota!
It was like they wrote this story and it only covered 5 eps and some asshat
told them to stretch it to 13 eps!! (much like season 1 if I recall)

Wasn't til ep 8 - 13 that it got halfway decent.

Mom... pffttt. really?! so original. What, next season we learn her pet puppy
& goldfish are still alive?!

(and cracked me up, but Tennat still stole the show!) lol only good part in this
series!

of course, YMMV. (same folks who liked Thor)

Give over - you were singing along to "Hey hey, I want your Cray Cray" just like the rest of us - don't try and deny it!

Loved Thor (mostly) :)

A little more than half way through S2 now, and loving every minute of it!
Intense is exactly the right description for this series.
Can't wait to finish this tonight.

BTW Buc - I can see where you are coming from.
For those looking for action and conflict, this series would be seen as very slow and kinda boring.
But the character development and investment in the characters lives are the payoff.
That is what keeps me glued to the screen. Waiting to see what is going to happen to them next and how they are going to deal with it. Or attempt to not deal with it.

Season 3 (13 episodes) up in 2 days (Fri 14th June).

Netflix have been a bit remiss in promoting it due to the "Disney cancellation" issues . . . but here's a couple of trailers and a featurette.

Looks like a new angle for this season, but with natural character progressions.

Just finished S03E04 - been a slow buildup (with a couple of surprises) - but THIS episode made things REALLY interesting! 8-[

That's because you were watching using IE instead of Firefox :P

Interesting as in it introduced the "bad guy" for the season.

I'll admit to finding Trish & the lawyer mildly irritating.

Finished E07 yesterday.

Still enjoying it - but that because of the characters (even the annoying ones) - it ain't Transformers or Avengers (or Daredevil or Punisher), but I like it.

Yeah, but e05 was better for that portion... that's where it's picking up for me.

Finished E09 yesterday - I now REALLY hate that heartless bitch of a lawyer (although - to be honest - I've never met a lawyer I like in real life either!)

All done.

Very happy with the ending (with one exception that I won't spoil).

Knowing that it's all over though . . . 3 seasons (39 episodes) in 3½ years . . . I feel like I'm losing some old (ish) friends.
