Great choice of music.

Chills.

Just 13 days to go - and the MEGA POSITIVE reviews are coming in like a waterfall :D

I parsed through these as I didn't want any more hints about the plot (or spoilers) - but loved what I DID read.

It didn't feel like a superhero movie, more a Western with superpowers...

To me it was about aging, and families, and what we'd like to leave as our legacy. Dark and more violent than other Wolverine stories but I didn't feel like it was violence without reason, I found it emotional in places, I confess there were a few tears - overall I loved it

I really enjoyed it, but felt it might have been a little too long.
I understand the reason for the slower pace to most of it. Give you a chance to absorb it, feel it, and give things more weight. I just think they could have goosed it a little bit in a lot of places to trim the run time, but still get that across.
Especially early on.
At almost two and a half hours, it just left me wishing it would have been closer to 2 hours.

We were waiting for the right circumstances/people to watch this.

The delay was driving me nuts - but I'm glad we did wait.

I only paid $6.50 for my matinee ticket, but I got $24.99 worth of entertainment. I loved Logan, it emotionally resonated with me on a lot of levels - caring of an elderly parent, middle-aged body doesn't perform as well, working toward a long-term dream goal (like a boat or house) and getting stymied along the way, etc.

What finally convinced me to see it at the theater and not wait for the home release was attending a nerd convention panel with the art director and pre-visualization supervisor. They showed some interesting clips of how the movie developed, and how the director, James Mangold, would harp about wanting a real feel, and dialing back the Hollywood action. They showed designs for the centaur-like half-man half-tank Reaver, Bonebreaker. I guess it was a little too outrageous for this movie.

Caught this on HBO. Watched it last week and again last night.

The 1st time, I couldn't make out what X23 was saying while standing
over Logan's grave... I rewound it back 3x and still couldn't make out
wtf she was saying!! (can we have editors go back and redo the dialog
on some of these freaking movies!!)

For some reason, last night I could hear it... it's the end of Shane!!?!! and
I thought, 'how many of these millennials are gonna get that??! :)
It's not like they were paying attention earlier!!?!

Overall, not happy to see Wolverine in that shape... but enjoyed the movie.

Thanks for the bump Buc.

Due to my fondness for Logan & Charles, and the intensity of the movie, I'd been biding my time after the initial watch.

Treated myself again tonight.

As good as I remembered it.

Wow.
