Just started it today, doubt I'll finish this weekend though.
Savoring the episodes.
Loved the way the first ep. was shot and the story telling and kid actors are still tremendous.

Okay, couldn't help myself and binged all nine episodes.
The story wasn't as compelling for me as the first season but was still very enjoyable.

We just semi-binged the first 6 episodes this weekend. Really loving it. Casting Paul Reiser was genius :-)

Found the first 2 episodes a bit on the slow side - enjoyable - but slow.

Still - Scorpions in E01 and Ted Nugent + Motley Crap in E02 - nice :)

E03 got a bit heavier ! (and I don't mean Motorhead !)
    • DAMN those kids can act !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
E04 - nice!

E05 - anyone else get a "Palmer" (or Scanners) vibe at the end? :)

E06 - BEST EP YET !!! =D> =D> =D> :jam: - Ratt do the rounds (sorry!) and more ALIENS/P2 homages than you can shake a flamethrower at !!!!!

E07 - ermmmm - well - every show's allowed it's off day :?

E08 - Back to awesome.

E09 - And all the way though I was thinking "where's Pat!?"

Ended nicely. Loved it. Well pleased :thumb2:

finished last night. Thought it was better than season 1.

Still think the adult actors are all miscast. (Except for Hopper, Bob, & the
Head Lab guy). W. Rider can't act for crap!

Kids were great!

Enjoyed the after show ep's as well (well, except for the prissy host).

Looking fwd to season 3.

The boys and I were in the middle of season 2 episode 3, when the wife came in with a barrage of questions..
This coming from someone with zero interest last year.
Long story short we're back in the middle of season 1.

Liked Season 1 better. Ep9 saved S2 for me.

It's Netfilx here too - I found the aftershow, but I had to go search for it. All these streaming services are the same - they continually push you the same irrelevant crap based on what they "think" you like, but never actually manage to make the connection between a show you're watching and a show about the show you are watching. Artificial Stupidity.

Duh!

Love that phrase - never heard it before - THAT'S going in the "ammunition" folder for sure

Off-topic - found one of your letters in an ancient copy of Kitbuilders magazine earlier in the week - dayum - you've been around a while mate :)

You were challenging US to UK shipping charges that another Brit had exaggerated. I (mentally) did the same thing when I read the original letter :)

It was a fun watch.I liked in episode 5 when Hopper went back for his hat, maybe a little nod to the Indiana Jones films. what I did not like was that the Dr was still alive and just had a leg wound.HELLO!!
Did we not see what one of those did to Bob or the whole complex .
But like I said ,fun to watch.I would like to see how they continue the story line.

Just dug that out - ha ha, no don't remember that at all - but then it was 19 years ago! Boy, long gone are those sorts of postage charge :( I particularly liked "if you have the internet"... :D

I probably started (back) in the hobby around 1990 - think it was the Halcyon APC that rekindled my modelling flame.

Meanwhile, back to the show! - Ep 7 was a strange one (no pun intended) Almost like a different program. But boy Eleven's grown up!!

Two to go!

Finished off the last 2 last night - Hugely enjoyable - as much so as the first series!

Watched the first aftershow, but hear really annoying whiney host....
