Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

To me, it felt like a Thor movie masquerading as a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, or a Guardians of the Galaxy Movie masquerading as a Thor movie.

They should have titled it "A Funny thing Happened on the way to Ragnarok."

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Loved the Hulk/Thor interaction, Loki was his usual entertaining self, didn't take itself seriously at all (which I appreciated).
Captain America, Iron Man and Avengers' films work best as action/drama/morality plays (with some humor in Iron Man/Avengers) but Ant Man was lighter fare and still very entertaining.
Same goes for this Thor installment: entertaining lighter fare with a good dose of humor.

Overall fun film. Lots of very talented people both in front of and behind the camera.

However, I will now state for the record that I want to go back to the days when you could leave the theater when the credits started rolling and be confident you weren't going to miss anything worth watching.

This.

Though even back in the day, there were a few exceptions.
I remember all the bloopers during the credits for Smokey and the Bandit.

I'm actually OK with frequent bits through the credits. Letting the credits roll around a scene -- blooper or whatever -- giving you something to watch. The same was true with Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead.

The Marvel movies, though, if you see them in the theater, you have to wait through all that scrolling text, wondering if there's actually going to be anything.

From what I've seen of the trailers this appears to be more in line with the Hulk animated films. I'm told Hulk speaks in this one, as he does in the animated films.

Yes, the Hulk finally has dialogue all the way through. As the comics figured out right at the start, the Hulk is a more interesting character when he says things.

Enjoyed the mockery of Black Widow's STUPID "Hey big guy" scenes from Age of Ultron (possibly my least favorite Marvel film).

Saw it last night. Agree... although I thought it was more a Thor movie
masquerading as a Deadpool movie and failing miserably!

For some reason both my sons LOVED it.

But that wasn't my Thor... my gawd, at one point he's screaming like a little bi' ch!!!?!!
Really?!

The great thing about Thor is that he doesn't have a sense of humor!!! That's what
makes him the bunt of the jokes!

And freaking Goldblum!! Why does he keep getting parts?! Guy can't act his way
outta a paper bag! (him and Benicio Del Toro! Both take up way too much air &
Both drive me crazy!)

(Must be getting old)

Finally saw this last night.
Loved it!

Just the right amount of humor to keep things light, but with a heavy plot to keep it grounded.
I enjoyed seeing Thor outside of Earth doing god-things instead of having to hold back.

Only complaint I had was that in the dialog heavy scenes, the sound was too low.
Had to keep turning the volume up to figure out what was going on.
