Which Franchise Will Disney Run Into Ground First?

Starwars or Marvel

My prediction Starwars based on the reaction of The Least Jedi ..

I was going to say, haven't they already run Star Wars into the ground?

Marvel seems to still be in the hands of people who know and love the source material. The latest Thor movie proves there's still life to that world.

Star Wars, on the other hand, has been going downhill since Empire, so I think Disney's just continuing the trend. I don't even plan to see Last Jedi because I'm one of the apparently few people who hated The Force Awakens.

You're not alone. I was still working in the film industry when Return premiered. Looking forward to the effects and makeup, I actually waited on line overnight for the first show at the Astor Plaza in 70mm. Saw the print delivery and everything and was rewarded with Teddy Bears and the Chuckles Vader reveal.

It hasn't gotten any better IMO. After Rogue One squeezed every single cliche they could muster into one film, I'm in no rush for the latest one, I'll certainly be able to hold out until it's streaming on Netflix, etc.

Too much good stuff out there to watch first.
Plausible deniability.
