Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Honestly, I'm just waiting for an actual continuation of the 1st film. While this 3rd entry has some good special effects, overall I thought it was a complete waste of time.

Don't want to spoil anything, but the new movie does connect to the first film.
The things you own end up owning you. It's only after you lose everything that you're free to do anything.
Enjoyed it - was a very competent film, good effects, good acting, but like 10 Cloverfield Lane it was originally a completely independent film that was "Cloverfield-ised" to make it part of the family.
Both would have been better if left unmolested IMHO.
First the good news, some brilliant acting from some very talented actors. And that's about it, take what could have been a very good sci fi flick splice in some cloverfield and cloverfield lane throw in a dash of fringe and you get this sorrowful mess. Sorry HMS your remote control privileges have been suspended hand it over.

A house with my Wife, 2 teenagers (one with a boyfriend), and you think I have the remote control - seriously ?!?!?

It actually connects both of them, with the connection to 10 Cloverfield Lane being through two characters that most will likely miss like I did.
Watched it last night and enjoyed it (abet w/ many questions and slight
confusion here & there!) (re: uh, why is the arm crawling around and sentient?)
