Justice League at Redbox.

#1 Post by Glusniffer »

Sup guys? Ok so Ive rented this for tonight's watch and I was scrolling the forum for reviews but couldn't find any. Not that I expect much from it anyway. DC movies just don't carry the weight that Marvel does IMHO. Batman vs Superman was lame, Suicide Squad lame, Wonder woman I liked. The DC shows like Arrow, Gotham, The Flash, Legends are all good watches but when it comes to the big screen they sorely lack. I don't get it? Oh well, gonna give a gander... Later. :?

Justice league is mess from I read with directors who worked on it.

Yep. Pretty bad... The only thing that got me through it was Wonder Woman though they did do "Justice" to Aqua-man and his best scene was sitting on WW's lasso! :P Just glad I rented Thor: Ragnorok for back-up!

I actually enjoyed the Justice League movie. I don't really care for what they did to The Flash, making him more the boy Wally West was when he started out as Kid Flash, and the changes to Aquaman and making Cyborg a founding member, but these were minor things for me and didn't really bother me, as the changes in Man Of Steel and Batman V Superman did.

I'm glad I could enjoy watching this movie after the disappointments of the others I mentioned.

I personally liked Suicide Squad, I read a lot of the original series of comics and liked it then, and the movie was enjoyable and fit with the comics I remembered nicely.

Wonder Woman I liked a lot as well. Looking forward to the second WW movie when it comes out.

I enjoyed it as well. I recall back in the 70's when superhero movies were more of a joke. Recall the first attempt with the Fantastic 4 anyone?

I went in to Justice League with low expectations, but I ended up liking it quite a bit. Sure there were some problems but, overall I thought it was a giant step forward from Batman vs. Superman.

it came on HBO last night. Definitely reinforced why many of us
were Marvelites!! :)

So you put together a team... who in the end, can't do crap, either
by themselves or alone...UNTIL...<wait for it> ... Superman arrives, does all
the heavy lifting and saves the day??!! Whaaaaaaaaaaaa?

(that's why Supes was a bane (and a lifesaver) for writers thru out time!)

in the 'not as bad as I thought it would be' dept:

- Aquaman. As a youth....I always got sucked in by the fantastic covers,
only to realize after reading it that this poor sap just isn't that interesting!
But gotta admit, I really like this actor in everything he's in and he does make
a kicking water dude!

but... whats up with bashing humans for wrecking the planet, and then finishing
his beer and smashing the bottle on the pier???! Ya f'ing hypocrite you!!

- WW... wasn't a fan when I first saw promo photos... but after the movie and
this one, she's wearing me down and I'm starting to really like her! (she was the
best part of this movie)

- Cyber... again, looked super lame in the promo's... but he wasn't half bad in the
movie. At least he played it serious and have to admit, I liked him.

Hated:
- Flash... oh, what a pain in the ass bore!!
- Aflect... I don't care... hate hate hate hate Aflect! in ANYTHING!!!
- Commish Gordon... no no... sorry... that's Jonah, man!! Kept waiting for
spidey to swing by the arc light!
- and what happened to the Daily Planet??! They couldn't use it in this flick or what?!
wtf is the Metropolitain wha'ever Press?!

also had no idea who this villian was. That wasn't suppose to be Darkseid, was it??!

After credits: gawd, I hate that Luthor!!! Hate him!!! And why not use the Deathlock
who's in Arrow??! Much better looking/acting dude than that guy looked!?!!

anyhoo... that's DC I guess! lmao

The Roger Corman film? Better than the tripe they recently did. I, also, liked Justice League.

Watched it on HBO Go last night - it wasn't the dumpster fire I expected.

Not the worst flick I've seen, loved aquaman and wonder woman even though i think the actress is waaay too skinny every time i see her i wanna offer her a sandwich. Hate affleck as bats and the flash was all wrong, lousy costume and acted more like an annoying kid flash. And hated the look of the film did not look real world more like visuals from a video game. Okay if you have two hrs to burn but i wont ever watch it again.

Thank God for DVR's. Took me about 20 minutes to watch the entire movie and I guarantee I didn't miss a thing. According to IMDb, TWENTY ONE different writers worked on the screenplay - and this is what they came up with?
