Love that film. Reminds me of some of the lower grade Horror films of the 50's. No great shakes in any area except in the imagination that went into it.

I'll be curious to hear from someone who's seen this new blue ray edition. It took me forever to find a DVD version. Some BRD versions don't come out all that well due to low resolution in the original source material.

It's a bit "grainy" in spots. Overall, though, a nice print.

The Blue-ray is worthwhile just for its extras. The (long) interview with the Rawhead performer himself was very cool. Too bad he did not make additional monster films. He would have made a great Frankenstein. The interviews with the effects/makeup creators was also interesting. While I hope there will be a Rawhead remake someday, the film was enjoyable and the creature design effective enough to spawn several great kits over the years. Wish there were more!
