Looks fun enough. Sooooooo digital, but an undersea adventure may make that more practical than practical. My youngest loves mermaids so I'll probably see it on the big screen.

In all, the dismal DCEU looks just a little brighter. Of course, they might be screwing up Aquaman just as badly as they did Batman and Superman but I wouldn't recognize it. Never was a big fan of the character. Who was?

Man, I wish I felt the same about Shazam.

I seen the trailer for both Shazam is a wash I won't bother.
Same goes with Aquaman.. sigh my tastes are changing.
What real problem I have been seeing with most this movies
is epic cgi battles like from lord of the rings trying to recapture
that in every big budget movie is getting tiring
Hyper active pace is getting boring.. as well.
Nostalgia can be a bad thing, especially when you are led by it.

First responses to Aquaman are very strong. Some say it's the best DC movie since The Dark Knight.

I'm happy to be willing to give this one a chance. The director is James Wan, whose work is hit-and-miss with me. I can't bring myself to watch Saw, but I enjoyed The Conjuring and Insidious (not so much the sequels or spinoffs).

Just saw the trailer and liked it. But I've always been an Aquaman fan going back to when I was a little kid.

IIRC I read somewhere that a lot of the movies are all over the top action, both real and cgi as it saves the movie co. $$ when they bring the films overseas and there's not a lot of ppl to pay to translate the dialog into whatever language the movie needs.

Sad but true it's rare for me to buy new dvd of current movie
Blade Runner 2049 and Pacific Rim and Jurassic world..
Burned out comic movies.. I love dc animated movies better.
See the Dark Knight Returns cartoon it's 100 times better
than superman vs batman.
