Great character actor - always gave off a sense of power & menace.

I'll remember him for Blade Runner (primarily), along with S01E03 of Lexx, and Sin City.

And the obvious (inaccurate for him) byline - "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain." (he apparently added this to the script).

An unsung, but terrific, character actor. I'm very sorry to hear this, RIP!

Very upsetting. He was so good in everything. Hobo with a shotgun wasn't all that great but he made it worth watching.

When word started circulating that Burton was directing a big budget Batman movie back in '88, and before the part had been cast, I remember thinking Hauer would have been perfect in the title role.

Flesh & Blood was another excellent movie. He made so many.
