Carnival Row - on Prime

#1 Post by Buc Wheat »

3 eps down so far... and really, really impressed with both
the story, the acting, & the great visuals. Love how the fae are
portrayed!!

They really did a great job on this!

That lass with the 2 semi-trained slugs above her eyes annoys the heck out of me, so I'll be giving this a wide berth (well - unless you good folks convince me otherwise) :)

Also 3 eps in, and enjoying the storyline and the visuals, although I wish it weren't quite so dark sometimes, makes it hard for my poor old eyes to see what's going on.

Cara Delevingne (said lass with eyebrows) has a very convincing Irish accent (although I have no accent, I am of the Irish and know a good accent when I hear one).

The flying fae are very convincing, kind of dragonfly combined with hummingbirds and all the fae/critch look very real.

I look forward to watching the rest of the series

Most important question - do those eyebrows find peace & security, and live happily ever-after?

Only question I have... (don't look until you've finished watching)

...did the monster have to kill that many to find the person they were
looking for?

can see maybe Mom didn't know enuff info since he was orphaned and
probably didn't know what name he went by...

but the school master knew. If fact when he went back to the orphanage
after the murder, the 2nd head master instantly knew who he was... so why
continue and not go after him directly?

(unless she didn't know who the names of the police force people? maybe
she had a name but not where that person was at present time??)
