Me too. It started off well, but by the end went off the rails pretty hard for me. Ultimately the whole thing seemed pretty contrived and after it was over, had some real plot holes.

But it's hot horrible.

There is one thing about it that's annoying/distracting. Michael C. Hall plays the brother in law detective. The actor is English. The character is American. I don't know if it was due to budget constraints, unwillingness to re-shoot a scene, or bad post processing, but in every scene he's in there's at least a one line which is partially delivered in his natural English accent. The first time it happens it's surprising. But thereafter, whenever he's in a scene, I was distracted, wondering when they'd screw it up again.
