My advice  don't bother - it's almost as bad as Aquaman  #-o

A truly TRULY awful movie in every respect. Absolutely ZERO redeeming features.
  • • The writers, directors & editors . . . well . . . what can you say
    • Other than Christian Bale, the rest of the actors could be placed on the "also ran" list - they seemed bored and disinterested.
    • Even Bale's "Gorr" was wasted compared to the character in the original story.
    • Pretty much every attempt at humour failed dismally.
    • The GOTG portions (such as they were) were cringe & clumsy - laughable for all the wrong reasons.
    • Those child actors - OMG were they bad! (I wasn't surprised to hear the lad playing "Axl" had never had any acting training OR how the actress playing Gorr's Daughter got the role).
    • The "gods" scene with Zeus - I felt embarrassed for everyone on the set

I haven't seen so much bad writing since I put chalk on the shoes of my friend who's an Irish dancer.

As with the aforementioned "Aquaman" - I will never EVER watch ANY of this again. Cast-iron (heavy metal?) guaranteed!

RE: "what is a word that is more definative/stronger/ than 'sucked'!!" I believe it starts with an "F" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "flippin' dreadful" ?

Normally I would leap to the defense of Taika Waititi and Marvel/Disney... but not this time.

No where near as bad as The Eternals but then again no where near as enjoyable as Waititi's previous Thor film: Ragnarok

Best moments came in the opening ten minutes of the movie with the Guardians and then again with the initial visit to New Asgard cum Disney Land

Some of the jokes were repeated far to often and got tiresome.

Thought Bale was fine (he appeared to be trying), thought Crowe was ridiculous (he appeared to be trying to be ridiculous).

It seemed to me as if Waititi was out to amuse himself and his friends and not the audience.

On the whole, left me let down.

WOW!

I liked it.

("Methinks I am in the minority here").

For me, it was good entertainment. I wasn't looking to analyze it, paying close attention to the - (excessive, sometimes displaced)? - humor in it, nor issues with the plot, nor the acting. I just went into seeing the movie with the hopes of being entertained for a couple of hours, which I was.

I actually liked that scene, with the gods.

I also thought that Bale's character brought up a good point, about how aloof the gods can be, showing very little care and concern for their
subjects.

I also liked Jane becoming "another Thor", and appreciated the how their relationship first rekindled, and then ended up playing itself out.

Thor's inheritance and adoption of Bale's daughter showed him exhibiting a level of responsibility that maybe he felt he lacked, not being able to prevent the death of many of his Asgardians along with the subsequent destruction of Asgard.

All-in-all the Thor movie was a fun ride for me.
