Looks like an interesting take.
And Nicolas Cage chewing up the scenery as Dracula should be entertaining as well.

Watched the regular trailer before I watched your linked "red-band" version - not really any differences.

Some great one-liners (I love bad puns - who would have guessed?) . . . the "familiar" and "come on in" lines had me laughing out loud.

Have to say I'm REALLY looking forward to this - love Nic Cage and it'll be nice to see Hoult in something better after the god-awful "The Menu" that I suffered through last week . . . let's hope it's a bit of a palate cleanser (told you!)

I needed cheering up a bit this week - and this certainly delivered.

Absolutely brilliant - the casting (especially the 2 Nick's), sets, script, dialogue, effects, humour . . . all of it was just PERFECT.

There appeared to be little Easter-eggs scattered throughout, but since I've never watched any of the older Dracula movies I couldn't be sure. Regardless, the imagery was clever.

Wholeheartedly recommend this - and I'll be watching this again real soon.

Assuming Cage gave one of his signature demented performances?

As if there was any doubt

Well - per my "I'll be watching this again real soon" in my post above - I watched it again last night - and it was just as good 2nd time around.

Acting from some of the MINOR supporting characters was a bit "dodgy" at times (well - it was either THEM or iffy directing), but still . . . GREAT FUN!

Of course - not EVERYONE has my exquisite taste and sensibilities . . . so YMMV :D
