Re: DVDs...Whatcha' bought lately?
I had to buy some stuff for my wife so I bought the supposed last Phantasm movie (Ravager), and the cheaper DVD set of the 4 Blind Dead movies. Ravager was OK but not as good as I'd hoped, but since I just learned of it and I have the set of 5 movies now, I'm still happy I got it. And the Blind Dead movies were also not as good as I remembered, but they are definitely different and I did really like re-watching them after all these years.

Seems like so many of my older movies are this way.not as good as I remembered
I ordered "THE" Evil Dead on Blu Ray. I made sure to get the first one this time.

Re: DVDs...Whatcha' bought lately?
I just picked up "The Terminator". I never had that, in my library, but I was ordering some books recently on Amazon and decided to drop the hammer and add the disc. For as dated as it is, in terms of the look and feel of the movie, it's still a great sci-fi/action film that holds up well.

I agree. Considering how much I love this movie I am surprised it took me so long to add it to my collection.it's still a great sci-fi/action film that holds up well.
I grabbed two from Amazon for $5 a piece.

Thrift store finds...
It's hard to find cool things at the use goods/thrift store, you have to regularly visit to find anything, IMHO. But I was able to get The Avengers on Blu-Ray and a DVD of The Empire Strikes back for $6 total.
That Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back DVD is particularly interesting to me, because it's one of the few (maybe only?) commercial off-the-shelf ways to watch the unaltered versions of the original trilogy in a digital format. I know it's fuzzy, but my vision's not great, anyhoo. I've also got the Harmy and Adywan despecialized editions of the original trilogy somewhere (along with the VHS tapes, too), but I don't have them setup up conveniently to watch.

Fathers Day gift - Lego Batman Movie.
I need to watch it again because everyone said it was so great and I just didn't think it was.
