Speaking of The Runaways, I re-watched some of the recent bio-pic last night. Nick Gilder's "Roxy Roller" is featured early in the movie and man, I just like that song. Makes me reminisce about being a dumb kid in the 70's.

Sadly the original band will never reunite with Sandy West's passing in 2006 from lung cancer. Joan owns most of the rights to the Runaways stuff, but the gals are still in touch in some form or the other. Seems to be a showdown between the four remaining and that's really sad. I found this clip from 1994. They were about 35?

The actually song isn't Messed Up World.
The real title starts with an 'F'.
Luckily one of the college stations I listen to play the real version at night.

Anyway. I just like the tune. Has a good beat, and catchy lyrics. With just enough 'bite' to the vocals to keep me interested.

In This Moment OTOH are very hit-and-miss with me. Some songs grab me but others just leave me flat. Can't put my finger on it. Just one of those things.
