That was back in 2000 on Infest.
Some great tracks on that one.

The next three albums I love too.
The next was a bit more mainstream but I still thought it was great.
The last two, were ok. No where near the fire of the previous stuff, but still some decent tunes.
(Kind of like the 2 albums Maiden did before Book of Souls)

It sounds sooooooo good.
I hope the whole new album will be like this.
Not quite old-school but so much harder than the last couple albums.
It's got the mid-2000's feel that I love so much about this band.
Not too shabby. Def a move (back) in the right direction for them.

Godsmack - Running Blind acoustic

Heard it on the radio today on the drive home. Been a long time since I've heard this one.

A little different than my usual stuff.
But I've always liked this artist and her songs
Been a while though. Until I heard it at a store while shopping today.

I've got a couple today.
First up is one of the cuts off the new Metallica release.
I've been hearing this a lot on the radio and really enjoying it.

Moth Into Flame https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tdKl-gTpZg

The second is one I just stumbled across tonight.
From the recent Megadeth album
I always forget just how melodic Megadeth can be

With appreciation to Fox for choosing this for todays newly-released red band "Logan" trailer".

Never heard of these guys before - but sure-as-hell have now (research time! :D )

I'm thinking our friend John (Raydrz) would have approved of this. Missing you Bro'

Steel Panther are well known for their truthful observations on society
  • - able to accurately define and capture the moment
    • - the zeitgeist if you will
      • - the consciousness of the world population
        • - basically - what REALLY matters NOW.

Here they are again with a brand-new . . . and (quite frankly) thought-provoking video ensemble, lovingly titled "Poontang Boomerang".

Feel free to discuss with your workmates the philosophical implications AND Ted Nugent's legacy.

New single from Papa Roach
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSecjqcO3Jk

The official video is supposed to drop next week. I like the song and look forward to seeing what the video is like.
I do like that they release the audio first and the video later. Gives a chance to really get into the music without being influenced by video content.

That said, they did finally release a video for Crooked Teeth this week too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HS2DQrG7wE

I love the rawness of the video. And the fact it seems like they are having tons of fun doing it.

Don't think I've come across this combination before - a really upbeat and cheerful tune but with dark/weird lyrics (WTH!)

Love the 1st one - Jacoby singing about himself and his addictions/temptations? Lyric video went up yesterday - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo3meU3LMCY

Hate the 2nd one with a passion :)

First - love that Volbeat song. I really need to see these guys live.

Second - Really love that new lyrics video. So old-school. Using the home-made tape labels, and the video-tape effects. Just makes it an instant classic in my mind.

Third - sorry you don't like the title track. It's such a huge throwback to their old-school sound.
I hope when they play it live the place explodes like it does for Dead Cell. (not nearly enough moshing at their shows anymore)

A video best described as "odd", but I'll add a #LMAO tag too :D

Couple of guests of the Halestorm persuasion.

Black Stone Cherry - Cheaper To Drink Alone (Official Music Video) - released yesterday.
