Re: Next concert on the calandar
Best of luck for the weather (and the performances) Steve - always loved Keifer's voice.
Cinderella were another one of those bands that took me by surprise (supported Priest on one tour & I'd never heard of them up until then).

I'd seen Cinderella a few times in the past - always enjoyed them. So long as it isn't a hard rain I can live with it!

Re: Next concert on the calandar
Hope all goes well.
Looks like a nice bill, should be fun as long as the weather cooperates.
I just purchased a ticket for Alice Cooper.
Halloween weekend at a small venue about an hour away.
Should be a great night.
This will be my 6th time seeing him.

Re: Next concert on the calandar
I got tickets for Alice Cooper for Oct. 20. This time he is playing the Peabody Opera House so should be a good show - he was through last summer at the start of his tour here with Deep Purple then but that was at the outdoor amphitheatre. Should be good in the smaller venue this time. Plus right after I bought the tickets I ran into Cooper's old manager at the baseball game and he told me he will be able to get us backstage for the show so I'm really looking forward to it! Larry managed him for 10 years a long time ago.

Ooooo!
That does sound like fun.
I'm seeing him on the 27th (Halloween weekend!)
Also a very small venue. Packard Music Hall. Capacity is 2200.
Should be a great show as always. I've got front row balcony for it. So I can just sit back and take it all in.
Haven't seen him since 2012 when he opened for Maiden.

Re: Next concert on the calandar
Just got back from the concert - weather cooperated!!! Great show - all 3 bands sounded good. I took some video so I'll try to get them downloaded and give a review sometime this weekend if I get time. One cool moment - Keifer and his band got on stage with Cheap Trick and sang with them on 'Surrender"

Re: Next concert on the calandar
OK, I got the video clips downloaded but need to get them somewhere to post them. Anyway the weather cooperated - was hot at first but NO rain!!
Tom Keifer opened and did a 9 song setlist. He got 50 minutes of playtime which was more than I figured he would get. His voice still sounds good and I think his band out-played Cheap Trick. They played all the songs I wanted to hear including a cover of "With A Little Help From My Friends."
Cheap Trick got an hour to play - did 13 songs. They did a good job but didn't blow me away A highlight was near the end Keifer and his band came onstage and performed with them on "Surrender."
Poison played for 1 hour 15 minutes doing 11 songs with a C.C.Deville guitar solo and a drum solo with Bobby Dall coming partway in doing theme from Pink Panther. The band got a bunch of veterans up on stage and paid tribute to them. They still rock hard and have a good time onstage. C.C. is looking a little rough age-wise! They finished with their encore being a cover of "Rock And Roll All Nite" followed by a recording of AC/DC while they thanked and greeted crowd closest to stage.
All in all a great night of just fun Rock & Roll!!!

Re: Next concert on the calandar
Hope you have a great time!
Halestorm is coming to my neck of the woods, but I am on the fence about going.
They are touring with In This Moment and I have zero desire to ever see them again.
I'm thinking about just going late, but it is a general admission show, and if I show up that late, I doubt I will find a good spot, let alone a seat.

Re: Next concert on the calandar
Cheers Bro'
Based on what I've heard so far of the new album (SO varied - in a GOOD way), I'd put up with any support/companion band to see Halestorm again (but then I like "In This Moment" too).

Don't laugh!!!! I went last night with my wife and saw The Beach Boys. It was a really good show actually at a 4000 seat outdoor amphitheatre overlooking the Mississippi River in Alton, IL. Venue has great acoustics and the vocals were crystal clear. They played for about an hour and 45 minutes. Plus no opening act so didn't have to sit thru a no-name.

Less than 9 hours to go - and the setlist has stayed constant throughout this tour based on last nights gig in Manchester . . .
No objections AT-ALL from me
