Well - I can't expect you to be right every time Matt - and the bright side is the Vancouver Halestorm gig in 3 weeks timeNM 156 wrote:Sorry Spike...
I'm taking Vicious over Shut Up & Kiss Me hands down - Lol!!!
I agree with Trev on his review of it, and in my opinion, goes for the whole album. When I first got Vicious I was surprised how different it was from their previous stuff, but quickly grew on me and I listened to it many, many times for a few weeks.
But look at the bright side, I agree with you on the video... A bit OTT, but following the video for Do Not Disturb (which I like), I'm not that surprised.

I forgot how powerful that simple riff is. Especially when you crank the volume and the radio station you listen to has a much better mix than the audio on these youtube videos.
Thanks Matt - I'll report back the following dayNM 156 wrote:Nice... Have a good time!!!
Oh...And thanks so much for reminding me of them!!!
I won't argue about that. I think those songs are awesome, and better than Lighting.Heavy Metal Spike wrote: Fave tracks from Ultimate Sin would be "Killer Of Giants" (gives me chills every time I hear it), closely followed by "Shot In The Dark" and "The Ultimate Sin".
tay666 wrote: . . . I have that problem with a lot of great songs. Listening to the same classic rock station for 8 hours a day because that is the only one that comes in at work tends to make you numb to some of the songs after a while. I could happily go a few weeks without hearing Crazy Train, Livin After Midnight, Doctor Feel Good, RocknRoll all Night, Dirty Deeds, Sweet Child of Mine, Schools Out, Iron Man, Still of the Night, Signs, Rock You Like A Hurricane, etc.
BW&BK website for me (HIGHLY recommended for ANY rock/metal fan) - along with the kids (I brought them up right it seems ).tay666 wrote: . . . Radio is how I get most of my exposure to new groups and new releases.

Sorry buddy - one of the few Halestorm songs that I REALLY dislike. They sent out the link to the registered fanbase on Thursday.
Appreciate the thought though
